Graphic tablets - this is the lot of people working with graphics, which the accuracy of positioning the manipulator in specific applications is more important than many other moments in working with the computer. But the company Wacom believes otherwise, releasing a line of accessories for computers that are ready to give everyone a small fraction of the experience of operating graphic tablets, while also showing an interesting manipulator for traditional work.
In the box with the Wacom Bamboo Pad you can find batteries, stylus and dongle to ensure the wireless operation of the manipulator.
The company Wacom itself positions the Bamboo Pad as an auxiliary device for working with a computer. Do not take it as a replacement for the graphics tablet, it's more like an Apple Magic Trackpad, with gesture support and a nice bonus in the form of an inductive stylus.
Bamboo Pad works with both Windows and Mac OS X, and in the case of Windows, the tablet will connect automatically, in the case of the Mac OS, you need to put a small application, for interaction with the Pad responding.
Since we had a wireless modification of the Bamboo Pad in our hands, the connection was simplified to the limit - we plug the USB dongle into the corresponding port of the computer, turn on the tablet and ... And, in fact, you can start using it.
If we talk about gestures, they are all extremely standard and intuitive: pinch-to-zoom, flipping the page with two fingers, tapping one or two fingers on the panel to simulate mouse buttons.
There is also a key duplicating the functionality of the mouse buttons. The left part of it is responsible for the left button, the right one, respectively, for the right button. Accustoming comes quickly, although the fully push-button Trackpad comes from California looks a little more convenient, but it seems to be a matter of habit and nothing more.
The stylus is a nice addition, nothing more. Of course, you can try to draw something in Paint under Windows or select it in Photoshop - you can. But ... If you really want to work with a graphics tablet - look at the more advanced models of the line, they are worth their money.
It can not be said that this device, which for most people will easily replace a mouse or touchpad on a laptop, also should not rush Apple users to throw away their "magic" touch panels. If working with gestures in one, two, three or even four fingers is intuitive enough, then the pen is more a tribute to the traditions of Wacom, and if you want to master it in the Bamboo Pad, you will have to work hard, since this is a skill , with a letter with a simple brush or a ballpoint pen in this case having little in common.
If the skill of using Wacom's feathers and tablets is available to you, and you clearly understand that it is necessary for you, then, perhaps,
