A bit of nature in the urban jungle never hurts, especially in the upcoming winter, when everything will cover a thick layer of snow and we will only have to dream of green lawns. Although, if desired, these dreams can be brought closer to reality, as did Roby Tilton - a designer who turned the Mac keyboard into a piece of wildlife that you can touch with your own hands at any time.
The essence of the idea is simple - all the keyboard parts made of plastic and aluminum, Tilton replaced with similar ones, only made of natural materials. The designer himself burned out the details of the keyboard, for which he used a laser and two sheets of wood. The basis for the new building was a sheet of plywood 0.8 mm thick, previously soaked in water to change the shape.
The only thing that grieves the creator of the "natural" keyboard is the need to use artificial moss. The conceived design required just such material, but natural moss is impractical, especially if it comes to serial production. The author himself does not yet cover this topic, but the number of positive reviews for Tolton's work is just as much as the number of enthusiastic comments on the new massager for the face from the ladies, who are obsessed with their beauty. Therefore, we all have a chance to become owners of exactly the same keyboard. Or maybe faster to do it yourself?
