Japanese company Century Co. presented a new CROS2EU3CP docking station for two SATA HDDs or SSD drives. The novelty is made in a standard form factor and remotely resembles a toaster.
The device is friendly with 3.5-inch, 2.5-inch and even 1.8-inch drives with SATA interface and can be connected to a computer either via a USB 3.0 cable or through the eSATA connector.
The novelty is that it offers "cloning" HDD or SDD drives without the need to use a computer.
Dimensions of the docking station - 143mm x 70mm x 132mm, weight - 544 grams. The novelty is fully compatible with Windows 7, Vista, XP and Mac OS X. Sales of new items are scheduled for March 2.
The cost of the Century CROS2EU3CP docking station is 7.980 yen (about $ 100).
