Logitech has introduced a new automatically configurable camera for making video calls through Panasonic HD Viera TVs. The novelty was developed in collaboration with Panasonic and Skype.
Logitech camera does not require the use of computer and software. All the user needs is to turn on the Panasonic Viera TV and select the Skype application. After the automatic installation, the device is ready for use. Video calls at 720p resolution can be made from TV to TV, or from TV to a personal computer, and vice versa. You can call the Panasonic Viera TV from any smartphone on which the Skype client is installed.
The camera is equipped with Carl Zeiss optics, has a rotation angle of 78 degrees and two digital directional microphones to reduce noise and eliminate echo.
The cost of Logitech TV Cam Skype is $ 150.
