The rows of Philips monitors are replenished with one new model, the Brilliance 225B2, which was officially introduced today. As stated by the famous Dutch company, this monitor has extremely low power consumption and can significantly reduce your costs associated with energy consumption. If you believe Philips, this is a major achievement of four technologies - PowerSensor (presence sensor), SmartPower (background lighting sensor), ZeroWatt (allows you to completely turn off the monitor power) and Soft-Off (reduces monitor power consumption to 0.1 W in standby mode).

As stated, the main technical characteristics of Brilliance 225B2 are as follows: screen size - 22 inches diagonal, standard resolution - 1680 × 1050, response time - 5 ms, brightness - 250 nits, dynamic contrast ratio - 500000: 1, two built-in speakers 1, 5 W, D-Sub and DVI inputs, 2 USB 2.0 ports. Adjustable height stand included. Its height is 70 mm.


This model will soon go on sale in Europe, and more specifically, in June. Its cost is 237 euros.
