A well-known manufacturer of smartphones, the company HTC, recently patented a stylus that is designed to interact with capacitive touchscreen displays. At the moment, styluses are used for resistive displays that respond to pressure, and do not read the electrical resistance created by a human finger as capacitive. The latter are installed in the devices Dream and Magic - the main competitors of the iPhone.
In order to increase the accuracy of the stylus, HTC used a magnetic head. Such a manipulator can easily operate with small objects, icons and draw symbols more precisely. For the latter reason, it is most expected in Asia, where the stylus writes more than they type.
