This morning, as expected, Dell officially announced the release of its newest UltraSharp 2209WA monitor. This model supports TrueColor technology and is different, as Dell claims, in ultra-accurate color reproduction. Apparently, the new product is not based on the 6-bit TN + Film matrix, since the viewing angles of this model are indeed 178 degrees horizontally and vertically. As a rule, TN + Film panels cannot provide viewing angles greater than 160 degrees.
Other main technical characteristics of this monitor are as follows: static contrast ratio - 1000: 1, brightness - 300 cd / m², standard resolution - 1680 × 1050. The monitor has DVI, VGA, and 4 USB ports.
Deliveries of the UltraSharp 2209WA have already begun today. The price of the monitor is quite pleasant - only 299 US dollars.
