CES 2009: pureSilicon introduced 1 GB SSD

Most likely you have never heard of a company like pureSilicon, but after this CES 2009 exhibition, interest in it will undoubtedly increase. And all because the company introduced the first 2.5-inch solid-state drive (SSD) Nitro with a capacity of 1 TB.
Novelty consumes only 4.8 watts in active mode, and 0.1 watts during idle time. The write speed is 215 MB / s, at the same time as the read speed is 240 MB / s.


It is worth noting that the Nitro line includes media with a capacity of 32 GB. They will go on sale in the first quarter of this year. PureSilicon also plans to launch an SSD for industrial devices that are capable of operating at elevated temperatures, moisture, and have shockproof protection mechanisms.
