Fujitsu has announced a line of external 2.5-inch hard drives - HandyDrive MMH2 UB. Currently available models with a capacity of 500, 400, 320, and 250 gigabytes. All of them support USB 2.0 connection and have 5400 RPM. With HHD, the manufacturer also provides a set of software for working with disks that allow, for example, to work with device partitions or locks.
Compared to previous models, the HandyDrive MMH2 UB consumes 30% less electricity when reading or writing data, and 35% in idle mode.
HandyDrive MMH2 UB will be available in the first quarter of this year. Cost is still not known.
