According to OLED-Display.net, LG Elecctronics has just announced its intention to showcase its latest LCD TV, the LH95, at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2009, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11, 2009.

According to the South Korean company, this is the thinnest LCD TV in the world, and its maximum thickness does not exceed 24.8 cm. But this is not all. It turns out that LH95 boasts TrueMotion Drive 240 Hz technology, which provides for screen updates with a frequency of 240 Hz, as well as a record high dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000: 1. By the way, this figure for LH95 is twice as high as that of the so far Sony's only OLED TV - XEL-1. According to LG Electronics, the LH95 is one of the contenders for the CES Innovation Award 2009 in the display category. Unfortunately, while we do not have information about the resolution of this TV, as well as its cost.
