It seems that the name Eizo needs no introduction, as the Japanese company is well-known all over the world thanks to its high-quality professional-class monitors. However, Eizo does not rest on its laurels and periodically updates its model range.
As it became known, yesterday Eizo officially unveiled two new models - Flexscan S2232 WE and S2242 WH. Both monitors have an unusually wide color gamut and can display up to 95% and 92% of the color gamut according to Adobe RGB and NTSC respectively. Moreover, they can boast a very high static contrast - 1200: 1 and a relatively low response time - 12 ms (black-to-white) and 6 ms (gray-to-gray). If you believe Eizo, they are very environmentally friendly and have a very low power consumption. The fact is that both models are equipped with an automatic lighting control system and can operate in economy mode (Low Power). Perhaps the main difference between them is the standard resolution, although the Flexscan S2232 WE and S2242 WH have the same screen size - 22 inches. If the first model supports a resolution of 1650 × 1080, that is, it does not reach the standard Full HD, then the second model already supports a resolution of 1920 × 1200.
Based on their needs, when buying a Flexscan S2232 WE and S2242 WH, buyers can choose for themselves options with HDCP VGA or DVI inputs. Both models have a 2-port USB hub, as well as built-in stereo speakers with a total power of 2 watts. The package also includes a stand with a rotation of 90 degrees, which allows you to view the image in portrait mode (portrait).
As expected, the above models will go on sale on February 5 at a price of 725 and 784 US dollars, respectively.
