Canon has introduced two new PIXMA series printers - the MP980 and MP620. Both printers have a proprietary image auto-correction feature for automatically adjusting contrast, saturation, and red-eye reduction settings.
The MP980 (in the photo) has 6 ink cartridges, including black and gray - for better printing of black and white photos. The printer is able to print a photo measuring 10 by 15 centimeters in 20 seconds. The junior model has no additional cartridge and is slower, printing photos of the same size in 41 seconds.
The MP980 will go on sale in October for $ 300. The MP620 will appear a month later for the price of $ 150.
