New miniature Bluetooth Skala-700

Two docks for iPod from Logitech

Logitech offers iPod users two new docks - the AudioStation and AudioStation Express. The first device is positioned as a home stereo, and, accordingly, is calculated on the use of the house. Unlike its brother, Express has a smaller size and is positioned as a mobile device. The truth is worth noting that the technical capabilities of the latter are more modest than those of the AudioStation. Both versions support all types of iPods.

Logitech AudioStation promises to be the most powerful dock for the all-powerful iPod player. The external dock resembles a music center rather than an optional iPod device. The system includes two one - inch speakers for high frequencies, two four - inch bass speakers and an 80 watt amplifier. The control panel is touch sensitive and has a nice button illumination. Among other features: integrated AM / FM radio tuner, clock, auto-off timer, graphic equalizer, 3.5 mm output for standard headphones, display of three-dimensional decoration images on the dock screen. AudioStation is also equipped with a remote control. The dimensions of the device are 6 inches long, 4.5 inches wide, and 7.25 inches tall (which is approximately 15.3 x 11.5 x 18.4 cm). The appearance of the device is expected in October, with an initial retail price in Europe of $ 299.99.

AudioStation Express, as already mentioned above, is a mobile dock. It is equipped with only two 2.5-inch speakers and a bass port. Express version can be powered from the AC adapter or from six AA batteries. The device, also, will be available in October of this year, and will cost $ 129.99 (cost in Europe).
